Default Auto entry/exit

On the road right now seeing if I can get a quick answer...I did not have the auto entry/exit feature enabled on my lariat. Wife went to use her setting and the side memory buttons are not responding, either single push or hold for saving position.

Went into the instrument cluster settings and now auto entry/exit is grayed out and non selectable.

Any clues?

Probably cause you can't do it while your truck is in motion

Were you stopped and in Park when she tried to recall the memory setting? If so, maybe it has something to do with "my key" if you set that up....

She might have tried or hit a button on exit, she said seat moved on her, auto entry/exit wasn't on. There no my key set up.

Vehicle was stationary and in park. I've tried to recall when in motion and get the message in the cluster about not permitted.

I'm stumped. Try stopping and turning the truck off and then push the start button with your foot OFF the break so just the radio and instrument cluster comes on. Then see if it'll work. Its a computer, maybe it just needs a restart.

Okay truck was parked for about 10 minutes and without even touching the push button start, no accessories on, I pushed the memory buttons and all worked again. And the easy/entry exit option was selectable.

Like AccLariat said, it's a computer.
