I have the auto climate in a 17 Platinum that I cant shut off using the button or the tab on the touch screen. The only way to get it to shut off the auto temp is to raise or lower the fan speed. Once I turn it back on to auto, it will not shut off. I dont know if this has any input to it, but the touch screen seems to be running slow when you push a button. At a total loss her and looking for any ideas.

I think your vehicle is working properly.

You either set it to auto, or you take control by increasing/decreasing the fan speed, changing discharge air temperature any anything else manual. That's why they call it Auto.

Not much to 'turn off' in terms of Auto. If you don't want auto, you want to control it yourself by adjusting a parameter.

 

Are you asking how to turn the system completely off? If so press the power button.

When the system is on Auto it doesn't work like your home system. The system doesn't turn on and off to regulate temperature, it will run constantly adjusting air temp, fan speed and air direction as needed.
