If he added the version in the file name he would have to change the download link in all of the places that he published it every time that he updated the program.

Will this work to restore my files on a 2016 Explorer Sport? I broke my laptop and lost my as built files and I am having issues with my lights. I need to take it to the dealer but I enabled bambi mode and several other things. I want to restore to factory. Thanks

Nope, you need to use Forscan

I have forscan and can get the modules as they currently exist saved. Can I then use the restore function to revert the changes? Is there a global restore option? I watched the video and saw the per line.

Not quite following, did you back up the files when you first used Forscan? If you did, then you can restore, if your doing it now, no. Then you need to use that Ford AsBuilt webpage that I posted in the Forscan forum to get your original settings and input the changes one at a time. Chances are Ford won't notice. Although I did see you have set Bambi up, I wonder if that might be your flickering with the fog lights?

In the documentation and video about this application, it looks like it does the following;
  1. Takes the asbuilt and other files from ford
  2. looks at the abt files in the vin folder
  3. Compares the files
In theory this should allow me to more quickly get me to an as built state. Which why I was asking instead of the restore factory right click per line if there is a revert all changes option. Again if I am correct in how the application works above this would help me. I am going to try this soon.

Thanks,

Lee

I loaded my vin in and got the asbuilt defaults in the app. I then went to each module and save it the the .abt file that forscan ingests. I then moved the files out of the vin folder. Following that, I went to forscan and saved off all my current modules and moved them into the vin folder. I could then see my changes. I went through all modules and made notes of which ones I had touched using the colors in the as built hacker to determine this. Finally, I restored the as build files by using the .abt files I built using as built hacker. This saved a ton of time.

Thanks to everyone for their help.
