apple play apps

Does 16 platinum have apple play, the only apps I can get is fordpass and waze nothing eles?

If you're talking about CarPlay for the 2016 you have to change out the USB media hub and make sure sync3 is updated to at least I believe 2.2.

Don’t forget to go into your settings and see what version of sync 3 you have. I have a 16 limited, bought used, previous owner never bothered upgrading. Had to download 2.2 onto a usb and upgrade, then 3.0. Pretty sure apple/android won’t work till you have 2.x and up. You can get that hub for 40-50$ on amazon, don’t need it for android though. Takes two seconds to pop out the old one and replace it. Just need a nice soft plastic trim removal tool.
