Replacing that stereo seems to be the best way

So I had looked into this several years ago, and it seemed too complicated. But I watch Matts Offroad Recovery on youtube, and the other day they posted a video updating their super duty "blue steel" from sync 2 to sync 3. It looked easy, so I bought a kit myself and did it a couple days ago. There's a bunch of different sellers, I got my kit from https://naviupgrade.com/

I installed the Viskoo Sync2 Carplay/Android Auto module upgrade. Retains original Sync2 plus Carplay/AA. Works great and I enjoy it, makes the truck feel updated. As a plus it is really easy to install.

But I would get it if it's closer 200 bucks. Price fluctuates a lot, seen it as low as 200 and as high as 400. If it's 400 might as well get the sync3 upgrade, if it's 200ish it is a good cheap upgrade.
