Yikes! This is a far cry from my pop's '66 Beetle that maybe had 6 fuses total!

The Ford site will probably only try to let me d/l a 3.0 update I bet. My current system is Sync 3.4, I know there's a newer version out there. Is Cyan Labs safe and effective to get updates?

Nice! This sounds like good advice on which ones it would be and seems equivalent to my CMax. Certainly isn’t going to hurt anything except maybe your back trying to get at them. It’s a PITA contorting for me to get at them in this car. But it has fixed it each time so far.

32 shows "A/C clutch" and 33 shows "not used" when I put cursor over those fuses?

That's the fuse box in the engine bay, keep scrolling down the page and you'll notice the second fuse box.

Pulled the 2 fuses for about 10 mins. Reinstalled, turned key switch to on position. The FORD logo came on for longer than usual then the screen went black. Cycled the key off, opened door, closed and locked vehicle, waited a few seconds. Unlocked, opened door, closed door and turned switch on again....nothing. Turned key off, screen looked to be backlit but no display. Got out, locked truck, the back light stayed on a couple minutes then it went off.

Well, that doesn’t seemed to have helped in your case, sorry for that. It does take a minute or two to reinitialize and go through the reboot and black screen is a part of that but after maybe 2 minutes that is done.

I would download the latest from Cyanlabs onto USB and try to update to latest Sync 3 software as suggested above as my last guess for you.

If that doesn’t work I’d lean to the APIM has failed, again.

I’m hoping for you.

UPDATE: Got another APIM from an EBAY seller. Installed yesterday and all is good. OE went 3 yrs 2 months (just outside warranty), its replacement went 3 yrs 6 months. Is this anyone else's experience with these?
