Default Apim

I have a 2017 ford lariat that needs a new Apim. Anywhere to buy in Canada other than dealer. Locale dealer wants $1703 plus tax to get me the part. Seems excessive for a known problem.

thanks

There are plenty of used ones for sale on eBay for under $400 US.
Getting one programmed to your truck will cost a bit more.

They were on backorder in 2019 when my old truck started eating them. Surprised they still aren't back ordered to be honest.

Find one in a junk yard program it yourself with FORScan. I got mine super cheap when I upgrade my Sync 2 to 3 in my 2015 programmed it myself. There is tons of info out there.

Whats wrong with your APIM that is making you think you need a new one? I have an APIM that has Sync 3.4 PM me your VIN and I can see if it is compatible with your vehicle.
