Anybody having APIM related issues? My Nav is out, radio is acting up. 2017 Lariat Sony headunit.

 

Common problem. Do a search and you'll find info on doing the replacement yourself. You can buy them on the forum already programed.

Mine crapped out in my original 2018 (5.0)
Put it in the shop as I had an extended warranty and they had to order it. Got the truck back while I waited because it was on backorder and daughter totaled it that weekend. It went fairly suddenly. Glitched for about 2 days then died almost completely. Strange thing - it would fire up and run normally about every 15th time I started the truck or after it ran for 45 minutes to an hour. Sometimes the camera would work, sometimes not.

Daughter is fine and I've never been so glad to get rid of a vehicle. So I replaced it with another 18 lol. But got the 2.7 instead of the rattle.0 and a bit nicer inside. No more tranny whine, no more rattle. It had intermittent cam phaser problems that very conveniently never happened during the 4 times I put it in the shop.

Yep - factory APIMs are on a 2 week backorder (or were 3 weeks ago) if that tells you anything....

 

Just PMd Texas Fording and Lucas, hopefully I get this rectified.
