I have the 8inch cluster with non nav sync 3. I've been reading to have the directions show up on cluster you need factory nav or 3.4. Flashing that seems like I need an it degree lol. Or buy a nav unit with 3.4 on it. What is the difference on sync 3 versions 1-4 is there more ram in them? My current one is slow and laggy sometimes. Thanks in advance.

What version so you have installed? Have you tried a master reset? On the nav stuff I'm unsure. I updated to 3.4 but that was the one I retrofit into my 2013 before I traded it. The non nav units do have less storage space. On later versions the partitions are set up differently which is why the 3.4 thread has a utility to change it and wipe completely.
