Default Anzo Switchback Headlights....

What do you guys think of the adjustment on my Anzo Switchback headlights? The first photo is with the low beams only and the second photo is running the high beams. I am running the Hikari LEDs in both the low and high beams. Is the cutoff line for the low beams at the correct height? Is it normal for it to not be completely straight like mine? Thanks in advance!

The first picture looks about right but to really find out you need to be about 20-25 feet from your garage or wall and ideally both be flat or on the same plane. Measure from the ground to the middle of the headlight (there's usually a little circle or mark on the lens that shows you the "middle"), then take that measurement and put a piece of tape at that height on whatever you are shining your headlights onto. Adjust them until they are at or slightly below that mark (1-2in). This should give you good visibility and not blind other folks on the road.

The second picture looks like the shudder for the projectors did not trip like it should have. Anzo's have a bi xenon projector so your low beam should lose the cutoff line when you hit your brights. One of my projectors broke on the factory Anzo switchbacks and was stuck in high beam mode basically so I retrofitted morimoto D2S mini projectors into them. The Anzo projectors aren't the greatest quality in terms of the bi xenon function so just be aware they may not work as intended but it sounds like yours aren't getting signal to activate the bi xenon flap for some reason.

I bumped up my passenger side about an inch at 10 feet. Give a little more throw on the ditch side. Stole the idea from BMW

Hey did you ever figure out or adjust your lights? Same setup and I have the exact same indent with both low beams instead of a straight line. My brights also create a big circle, mine are all adjusted to 3 and 9 o'clock.

There is a "step" in the cutoff line on any projector. However with aftermarket lights, and more prevalent in cheaper aftermarket lights, your projectors are not "square", they are rotated clockwise slightly which there is nothing you're going to do about that.

Thanks, I wonder if rotating the bulb alignment will change the amount of step.

Bulb has nothing to with the step. The step is the cut off shield design thats in the projector. Its designed to keep from blinding traffic coming in the opposite direction.
