Default anyone seen this weird behavior?

Got a 2015 Platinum here and recently it's doing some weird things.
  • Cruise stops working and will not set
  • Pressing the buttons to navigate the menu moves in the wrong direction. Left and right moves up and down.
Sometimes after a while it will start behaving right again.

Anyone seen anything like this?

I second Scotty. The early Gen-13s (2015-2016) have experienced a lot of clockspring problems. The replacement part has been updated. There are two different part numbers, one for lower optioned trucks (XL and XLT) and one for higher optioned (Lariat and up).

Clockspring or SCCM, Steering Column Control Module. Several videos on Youtube showing replacement of the part.

I had to replace the steering column control module on mine to fix the wonky buttons not working properly. (Steering column control module comes with a new clock spring)

But while I'm here, I do have a question, does it need to be programed after replacement? After replacement, everything works except 2 buttons. Mute button is the voice button, and voice button would switch the screen to the home screen or settings screen (not sure what it's trying to do). I never looked more into it as I didnt use those 2 buttons anyways.
