Default Anyone running steelies?

Anyone here running factory steelies on their trucks? I was thinking about buying a set to use as winter wheels since they are cheap and tires for 17s are a lot cheaper. I'm curious how they'd look on an XLT or higher trim.

I have them on my 2016 Screw and think they look better than any of the chrome plated plastic wheels that the forum is full of post about the finish pealing off. Obviously looks are not a priority to me but I still like the looks of them.

They look like steelies, on an F150. Not much to change appearance from between trim lines.

I run my winters on the factory 17" steel rims, and I prefer the look to my stock aluminum XLT rims. I do pay a slight fuel penalty due to the heavier rims and the General Arctic Grabber LT tires. Driving on Quebec roads is a lot like driving in Beirut...but the snow hides the bomb craters.

Carry a sledge hammer and a block of wood in case you have to change tires due to flat etc. Despite heavy coatings of anti-seize, the factory steel rims rust hard to the axle and are a real pain to get off. Picture doing that at the side of the road at -30 celsius.
