Default Anyone replace your windshield yet?

So, yeah, it hit within 1/8" of the top edge and I immediately had a foot long crack 🙁
Anything I should ask before scheduling a replacement?

Why your 3rd windshield? Delamination? Rocks?
Did Safelite do the replacement at the shop or at your location?

Well, not yet, but do have two chips just above my line of sight on drivers side. Saw that bugger coming too! I used some chip repair to stem any further cracking for now.

Any options for a factory tinted shade across the entire top of the windshield?

Yes , earlier this spring lower driver's side. I don't know if it's true, but I've heard the windshield glass on these trucks is thinner than in the past. $100 deductible, $600 total.

Yes, I had significant issues with lane keeping and rain sensing wipers stopped working. $600 to replace and $155 for the dealer to reprogram the camera. I paid the $250 deductible.
