Have you done a paint correction starting with a clay bar? If it bothers you that bad take it a professional detail shop and see what they say about correcting it. I do my own and my paint looks like glass.

Best way to see orange peel or wavy lines in the paint. Wash And wax your truck, put it under lights and move your arm across the hood. As you do that look at the reflection, if it’s smooth with no distortions it’s a nice paint job. If it’s wavy and looks like the side of an orange, it’s not. Why the hood, it’s the biggest panel you can reach without using a ladder.
One would think for for the amount of money we pay for these trucks, he’ll vehicles in general, Ford would have upped their game on the paint jobs.
I had an issue with my 2010 Chalkenger R/T, the alignment of the tail lights. The tail lights are three segments, the left and right segment did not Aline with the center. I pointed it our to the service manager and salesman, they said, and I quote: “it’s a Dodge Challenger, not a $150,000 Ferrari....” so unless BMW, Audi, Or Mercedes Benz start building F150’s, I guess we will have to continue with putting up with Ford’s less than bad quality control. Then have to fix the problems ourselves that Ford should of taken care of before the truck left the assembly plant.

I never had any on my trucks that I noticed. If you do, better think twice about cutting and buffing (the only way to remove it) because todays paint finishes are very thin.
