Default Anyone know what EcoMode does?

I have a f150 2018 2.7L TT, I'm just curious on exactly what is happening in each drive mode, does it only adjust throttle response? Or does it also limit the turbo boost and other things?

I could be wrong, but I remember reading somewhere that the different driving modes only affect the transmission set points.
I get better fuel economy in ecomode as the truck is keeping the rpms down below 2k.

The transmission's shift points can't be the only thing. I recently had a 2018 STX as a loaner vehicle, and in Eco mode, it definitely softened the throttle response, so it's definitely changing that too.

It's the opposite of what Sport mode does.

Gotta be shift points and throttle response from what I feel.

I run Winter mode on mine I can def tell you it softens the throttle response and also adjust the traction aids, especially noticeable when its snow/ice on the ground and you go around corners, the nanny's help out allot, so the rear end stays in place! One time I forgot and didn't change my mode, went around a corner and boy did that *** end come on around quickly lol--woops back in winter mode!!

Ok cool, I was curious if ford actually changed the way the motor was working with boost also.
