Nice how Ford corp & Ford dealers treat there customers. Ford's motto shpuld be "We got youre $50kk, good luck!". I am sure other auto dealers do the same but damn it seems worse for Fod customers. Wtf Ford!!

My dealer handles TSB's by blowing you off.

Print out the TSB's and show them. If you have the TSB number even, provide it to them. I had no issue with my dealer doing TSB work. But you have to first start off by telling them "my truck does this" or "my seats aren't doing that"... Give them the symptom. Then tell them there is a potential TSB, and the number is such and such.

It's every single dealer. They are there to make the sale, not back it up afterwards; there isn't any profit in fixing stuff for us for free. When the profit disappears so does the friendly attitude in a lot of cases.

Not every dealership is like that, but a ton of them are and it doesn't matter the brand. Absolute worst treatment I ever got was actually from Toyota.

How many weeks does it take them to sell you a truck off their lot? Probably a few hours, right! Sometimes it's tough to get service after the sale.

They get paid $80 per hour for warranty work here. Problem is that Ford doesn't pay them until they get the part/ item that is defective back in hand.
Lots of paper work. That is what the dealers hate. If the service manager in the shop refuses the fix, ask to speak to his boss, or their quality liason.

**** I used to love some of the warranty work I'd get working for Chrysler. I had some recall or TSB that basically had me pulling the hard top cover off of a Jeep Wrangler and got paid about 16 flat rate hours.

I take mine in to the closest dealer to me which isn't where I bought the truck and they have been awesome to me. They have warranty work on it once for a steering gear and did the tsb for the 4th gear bang when I took it in for the first oil change no questions asked.
