I still don’t think it’s right if shows any wear. My ‘14 Silverado I traded in for this had zero tire wear and they got rotated every 5k miles with oil changes.

Every Ford, 89, 05 and 08, have worn on the edges. Its hereditary on Fords! Also, I am running these at 36.

My first Silverado (2006) blew through tires fast and hopped down the road. GM eventually replaced the Bridgestones with Goodyears and no issues. My second Silverado (2008) did the same thing with Bridgestones.

We recently traded our Pacifica minivan (again with Bridgestones) that had non stop tire issues. I’ll never buy another vehicle with Bridgestones on it ever again.

I’m hoping the Michelins fix your problem.

Only time I've had irregular wear on tires is when my alignment is shot. OP, did you demand a print out? If they won't give one, I would take it to Firestone, Discount, NTB (I hate that place) and ask them to check the alignment. I ask for one every time. I've been running large, heavy, expensive tires on this truck, had some on my '07 too. I watch for wear like crazy on those. These are even all the way across with 20,000 on them.

Hmmmm... Maybe it's garbage tires. Guess time will tell with the new tires.

They keep trying to blame it on towing or my driving style.

How often do you tow?

Towing a loaded trailer does take weight off the front tires and cause a push while turning that will prematurely wear the tires out.

I have 5500 miles on the truck and I’ve towed one car maybe 6000lb max with trailer about 65 miles total.

I don't think the Michelin Tires are unique to the FX4.
My truck and my buddy's are both Screw XLT Sport 4x4 and his isn't an FX4.They both have Michelins.
