Anyone have a Gator FX3 cover? Or BakFlip?
Was considering the Gator FX3 or the BakFlip, but it seems as tho they are literally the exact same cover, just with a different brand name. I read that they are actually made in the same plant. Any real world reviews from the members here? Water get in? Good quality? If you have any pix of your own, please post! I was told it will work with an AMP Research Bed Extender if I purchase the spacer kit. Anyone happen to have both a Gator (or BakFlip) and an AMP bed extender? Thanks guys. Would love for pix and feedback about these covers. Drive safe.
I've got the Gator FX3 on my 2018. Install took about an hour (because I'm kind of ****-retentive). Perfect fit. I've checked for drips after rains and do not find any. I agree with you, in my research, these seem to be identical covers. I bought the Gator because I could get it delivered faster and it was tax-free.

Quality construction, packaging, and instructions are all well done. Just take note when you're installing that the alignment is key to achieving greater water resistance.
A day after installation, I made a 90 mile trip (fully loaded) with it propped open and it performed flawlessly. I definitely recommend either one of these tonneau covers!

Good quality. In keeping up with the dynamics of transporting cargo at the back of trucks, the gator tonneau covers generally prove to be functional, efficient and safe https://themotorsmasters.com/gator-t...-cover-review/.
