Anyone else wish they would've gotten the FX4 package?
I got a Lariat screw 502a package but does not have FX4 and I have the small gas tank.
But yea it's too bad it's not something you can just go back to the dealer and get it added on. I'd like to have the bigger tank, e-locking diffs, & hill descent..
Oh well, maybe when I trade up in 10 yrs I'll get it

Yep, I regret not getting FX4 package. Two weeks after taking delivery of my truck, I was on vacation in Tennessee and the hill to the cabin had a 17 degree grade and I wished I had the hill descent control.

I don't have any regrets. I opted with regular 4X4. I use brakes and/or use the +/- buttons to lock out the higher gears to help hold it back. You can also use Sport or tow/haul mode to help. Works for me. Besides, hill decent control kicks out above 20mph.
I have no need for lockers, and the FX4 "off road shocks" are a joke. I'm getting a leveling kit and going with ICON shocks that are actually worth the money.

The fx4 package does not offer that much. The hill descent is probably the most desirable here.
You can get better aftermarket shocks and skid plates or even add OEM one.
Most non-FX4 trucks do come with E-locker now too.
