Default Anyone else having issues with '15's?

To sum up my purchase and story.

Purchased a 2015 F150 v8 XLT sport in July 2015. When the vehicle was ready for me to pick up I noticed that it wasn't the vehicle I bought. This one was a XLT sport 2.7, no tinting, wheel locks, bug deflector etc.
I had to pull out my original bill showing the truck in which was sold to me, in which they where dumb founded and didn't know what was going on.
Turned out they sold the truck I put on hold by accident and set this truck aside.

At the end of the day I agreed to this truck due to it being second week of July and I had a better deal already locked in from the June promotions and July's wasn't as great.
But what really got me stirred up this week, I found out the 2.7 engine is a cheaper option then the 5.0. They tried telling me they got me a $1,500 engine upgrade due to their f*ck up. Really ticked about that. But I v learned my lesson, not dealing with that dealership ever again.

So here we are little over a year later, starting to have issues with the truck.

-Had a faulty TPMS, no big deal had it replaced at the first oil change around December 2015.

Mid january both back doors wouldn't unlock or lock, apparently due to thermal issues with the weather. Both replaced. Dealer said this is a known issue and is waiting a fix from Ford.

Early spring, some jackass decided to key the 2 doors on driver side, went in to ford dealership to be repainted. Looks great, shortly after driver door actuator dies. Part took 5 weeks to get to dealership (pain in the *** getting in and out of truck).

Tailgate actuator has always been ridiculously loud, but thought it was normal until my buddy bought the same truck and his was quiet. Then service advanctrac light came up on dash. So took it in to get both items looked at. Dropped truck off on way to work at 6AM buddy picked me up. Real busy day at work didn't think of calling and forgot to. Got dropped off at dealership to pick up truck to find out service closed at 5 and they forgot to call me. Asked for my truck, they couldn't find it, couldn't find the keys, couldn't find the paperwork. Super frustrated by then. Finally got it sorted out, dealer ship called next day saying parts are in. So I dropped it back off following day to receive a phone call saying they ordered wrong parts. Another day needed to fix the truck. By Friday that week Truck was fixed. Needed a whole new steering column and tailgate actuator.

2 Days after picking up truck from this repair, I pulled in my laneway and noticed a huge pool of oil on my parking spot. First reaction was wtf, who did an oil change in my laneway. I leaned under my truck and noticed oil dripping everywhere and the dipstick dry. This is Tuesday evening at 11pm. Called ford road side, to find out they can't find my truck in the system. Go figure, due to the dealership messing up the original truck VIN when they sold me the wrong truck. Finally after 3 hours got it towed at 2AM to dealership, Dealership called me that day saying one of the lines on the turbo blew and they would call back later in day to know exactly when parts will come in. Well this is going to be 2 weeks on Tuesday and they are still waiting on the parts for this turbo gasket. They called me on Friday to tell me hopefully next week they will arrive.

Sorry if I rambled on, just thought I d say.

Anyone else having some issues like I do? lol

Sorry for your issues with this, sounds like the dealership sucks and has zero quality control/supervision processes going on in their service department. The original truck that you wanted, did you order that one and they sold it or was it an "on the lot" truck? I also would have blown a gasket going to pick up my truck and they couldn't find it, where was it, someone take it home for the night? Once again, sorry for your issues, hopefully you found out who keyed your truck, I have the 2016 XLT with 2.7 and have had no issues yet but its only got about 1800 miles on it. Good luck with getting the issues fixed as well as the correct vin in their system so that you are not left stuck again. Let us know how it works out.

I won't comment on the repairs. I will say if I had shown up at the dealer to pick up a vehicle and they had a different vehicle, they would find themselves in court if they weren't able to make good on another vehicle with the specific options I ordered and at the agreed to price.

Don't let the dealer push you around like that. You never should have accepted anything less than what you ordered, and you shouldn't tolerate this repair delay nonsense. Tell them to fix it in a timely fashion, give you the 5.0 you ordered, or issue a refund for the 2.7 truck.

Sucks to hear you're going through this with a fairly new truck. Time is valuable, not just financially but with family, too. I've been on the side of having to forgo an afternoon or two because I was dealing with vehicle issues. Fortunately, my vehicle issue was my own dumb user error (positive terminal wasn't tightened down enough so I was getting a dead truck or charge error when it did start). That was my fault entirely. I have 16k on my 15' 2.7 and it's running strong. No issues whatsoever.

Hope you get everything resolved and start enjoying the truck again.

I've been fortunate enough to have not have any issues yet. If I need a few repairs under warranty, so be it. However if I have dealer experiences like yours, I will be frustrated for sure. These really are great trucks! Hope the dealer doesn't ruin that for you
