Default Anybody install ''Hellwig'' or another sway bars?

New 2016 FX4, if I hit a bump on the interstate or highway, the rear-end appears to get a little ''squirrely'' to me. Even my wife noticed it--- unusual to say the least. I think the aluminum bed being lighter perhaps might be involved and looked into sway bars-- the Hellwig ones look good. Any one have any input into this, helps, waste of time and money?? Another brand to consider,, best bang for the buck????

I, as I think 99% of us that have installed the Hellwig, am very happy with it. Not sure it will help with your problem though. I believe better shocks would be my first purchase if I were you.

You're talking about the rear hop over bumps situation? Check out the Fox 2.0 thread. Those who have installed these have said the factory socks are to blame. A sway bar would only help for cornering stability and might help to fix the hop problem but I don't see it curing it completely.

Replace your driver side rear shock with a good aftermarket gas shock an your hop veer disappears. Do the passenger side later. Your drive ability is there then an you smile an then enter corners with little hesitancy. Sway bars are best for high box loading. OEM goofed with going after a cushy test drive ride.
