Any reviews on the extang solid fold 2.0?

I've had mine for a couple of weeks. It leaks more than I expected. I realize most covers are not water tight, but this one is advertised as one of the most water tight ones. Mine leaks on all 4 seams along the inside seals. I plan on following up with the company about it. Maybe mine is defective. Otherwise, a nice, no nonsense cover.

Huh... have no leaks in the middle but in a torrential downpour I had a few drips where the seal meets the plastic bed rail cap on the pass. side about 10" from the tailgate. I imagine a slight adjustment would cure this but it's so small it's not worth screwing with.

I had the original solid fold on my 2011 and 2013. I now have a 2015 and I'm considering the 2.0. The only question I have is that over time on my 2013 it seemed to pull the bed rail covers up a bit and cause separation from the truck. Does this occur on the 2.0 as well? Have any of you discovered any issues with this cover?

No issues so far. No leaks either. On a side note, if you tighten the two front thumb screws too much when installing you will start to bend the aluminum channel underneath the rail because it is so thin. Other than that this thing has worked flawlessly!

I have the Extang 2.0. Seems very nice but I just got it, so it will be a while longer before I offer my opinion. It is quite a bit heavier than the soft trifold that I had before so it's a bit more cumbersome to install by myself. An extra person would make it a snap to install. It looks good on my truck, in my opinion, and the color and style match up really well. It's about an inch thick and not very low profile. If they had a thinner, lighter model, I would probably prefer it even if it were less strong.

I Love the look of mine. I made the dealership include it with the sale.
Negative, the automatic tailgate will not work via the button. Also the rubber lip seal catches on the gate, which is causing u never rippling. (I'm going to try adjusting the seating of it to see if that helps).
I like it a lot more then the original version I hated on my 2012. The material hasn't dented and I've accidentally banged it with some furniture. ( almost freaked out!)

I just got mine two days ago... You have to adjusted to get the tailgate to automatically drop. I love it so far, I had the soft trip fold before and this cover seems durable and I love how it looks on my truck.

big&tall,
I have one issue to report. My entire cover actually slide back about an inch. When I got under there to check the 2 front handscrews both were loose. I repositioned the cover & tightened them back up. As soon as you start to get any kind of torque on them handscrews the aluminum channel starts bending. So I cranked it a little & left it. Whats happening is its bending the rail over time which then makes the handscrew loose. Its not the covers fault its Fords thin flimsy aluminum under rail. I may have to come up with something to beef up the under rail area where the clamps make contact. Pics to come this evening of the bent rail where the clamps contact.
Other than that issue cover has been great. No leaks so far & I'm pretty rough with it opening & closing the panels. No dents in it & still looks as good as the day I first put it on.
