It turns out the top rail was popped loose on the same side. After investigating I came to the conclusion someone was pulling on the window like they though it opened manually. I asked my 2 kids (ages 6-7) if they tried to open the window and they admitted trying to get it open but they were not strong enough. Talked to the dealer they only sell the entire back window as a kit he offered me a deal at $621 after explaining what happened. The cost of install is about $325 so this is going to cost about $1000 to fix. I think my girlfriends dads truck has a manual slider on his truck and the kids just did not know any better. If you have small kids you should explain to them they cannot open that window it might just save you $1000. Thanks for the responses!

I can't tell from the picture but it looks like it could be fixed? What is affected by it in this state? Defroster? Open/close operation?

I agree but the issue now is the entire window is loose because the kids pulled the track loose too. It looks like I could fix that too but my concern is water leaking if its not perfect. I have all my audio equipment behind the rear seat so its not worth the risk. I have another quote for $721 I think replacing it is the best option.

I just talked to Safelite they quoted me $548.10 and claim its OEM with solar tint, defroster & power. I am taking it to them on Wednesday to get it replaced.

Check your insurance too some will replace windows covering 100% without deductible or claim penalties.
