I had my truck in 4x4 yesterday and it would occasionally make a popping noise. It was a very easy trail/road so nothing out of the ordinary. I had a 6" Zone lift installed about 1000 miles ago and this is the first time in 4x4 as the truck only has 7,000 miles. No noises in 2wd. Any ideas what is wrong? Is it safe to drive 250 miles home?

 

I would drive it but take it easy. Im not really great with lifts but it could be suspension on the truck settling or you maxing it out.
