I prefer to level by taking the factory lift blocks out the rear as opposed to adding spacers to front. Doesn't require having the front realignment or anything. Simple and looks much better...IMHO

I have had a 2 inch Autospring kit in mine for about 4 months and it has been great, no problems or regrets.

Stresses the suspension, parts wear out quicker, changes the aerodynamics, speedometer needs adjusting, mpg decreases, expense of a lift, no parking garages, no car washes, high center of gravity, poor handling.

A lot more cons than pros IMO.

Before I got my truck I was considering doing a lift because I liked the way they look. However, I plan on keeping my truck a long time and after doing a bunch of research, I decided against it.

Really?!? I have had leveling kits in several trucks and never once had that issue. You really think you will have a loss in MPG and high center of gravity, not able to fit in car washes from 2.5"? Oh and it has nothing to do with the speedometer unless you put a taller or shorter tire on it.

I haven't seen any of that either, but the whole removing the spacer from the back is interesting......

I've had leveling kits in my last 3 half tons 0 regrets. I hate the nose down look.I also install firestone ride rite air bags so with a load I can keep it level. No difference in ride and maybe a little worse mpg on the hwy. Around town no difference in mileage. My truck goes in next week for both. Using Pro comp level.

Default any downside or regrets from leveling kit

I just switched to my first truck from a mustang and noticed everyone talking about level kits. Then i look around and see so many trucks with a reverse rake and the first thing that comes to mind is they must have leveled it then towed or loaded the bed which settled the rear causing it to go out of level. I can only assume ford added the rake for aerodynamics and so it looks level once loaded down. From what i have seen from towing videos is to expect about a 1.5"-2" drop while towing a sizable load which would make it nearly level.

If you plan never to tow or load the bed then level away. This all coming from someone with no real world experience. I've owned my new ride for 6 months . Let the floggings begin
