Default Another Wheel Q

I have a 2017 F-150 XLT, son has a 2018 STX. Mine has 17 in wheels, his 18 in. He had his lifted so now he has the 18 in sitting n garage. Any reason why I could not put those on mine ? Any pro/cons ?

Depending on the tire size difference, the speedo may be off a little bit, but not anything to worry about.

Thats also what I was wondering about is the speedo . Also anyone know if it would be better for pulling a 5K camper, dont have any problems now but not sure if it would be better

"Better" depends upon what you expect from your wheels/tires.

Some prefer smaller diameter wheels so they can max out the tire sidewall. Taller off-road tires are more flexible, lending better grip. Taller P tires give more cush.

Others want more precise handling. Larger diameter wheels with short sidewall tires... more precise handling, less shimmy under load.

As for the speedo, if there is any difference (check the revs/mile specified for your current tire and for the new tires), get Forscan and an OBD2 dongle and fix it.

The only con with the 18" typically tires are more expensive compared to 17".
