Default Another Tire thread...

2019 F150 XL STX 2.7L 2WD SCREW 3.55 gears. 2" lift (2" pucks up front, 2" blocks in the rear)

Looking to keep the STX wheels, and run General Grappler ATX 285/60r20

I've done a ton of research and this is what I've settled on. It seems this is a good balance of getting a little more tire than my factory 275/55r20.

My questions
-would you go bigger (tires) with my setup? if so how much? I was hoping to get 33x12.5r20 but the mechanics in my area seem to think that too wide, I should stick to the 11.5" wide or less on the 8.5" wide rims that I have. For some reason the 33x12.5r20 are like 60$ cheaper than the 285/60r20. However the 285's have a higher load rating.
-really concerned with road noise. Reviews seem like so long as you rotate these every 5k miles the noise level should be fine. Wondering if I should buy a better tire to get quieter tires?

Thanks!

Here's a post from a user who installed 35 x 12.5 R20s with a 2.1" level in the front, so 33 x 12.5 will be fine. The first part of your question is a matter of opinion though, speaking purely about aesthetics I don't think that the biggest possible tire that will fit is necessarily the best way to go, but that's just my opinion.

Thanks for the feedback, I ended up going Cooper Discover at3 ltx 285/60r20. The local shop had these as best deal I could get without special ordering. Great price too.

Can't wait for my appointment on Wednesday.
