Another Steering Wheel Question
I recently got my steering wheel replaced by the dealer under warranty. It was peeling and I searched this forum and found that many had gotten it covered or replaced under warranty by the dealer, as long as they were under 36,000 miles...I was at 30,000 and they covered it..Great Right! Well now driving it I've noticed the wheel is very very slightly off. It tilts just a little to the right when driving it straight down the road. If I hold it straight, the car obviously begins to stray to the left. I've looked at a number of steering wheel replacement threads on here and a couple of YouTube videos, but it looks like any adjustment in the wheel would be a gross adjustment since the wheel itself sits on a hexagon shaped nut (i.e. removing my steering wheel and adjusting an entire flat would be far to large of an adjustment). This leads me to believe that the previous wheel had the same condition, I just wasn't looking because my wheel hadn't just been replaced, and that it's an alignment issue that has possibly always existed. What do you guys think? For those of you who have removed the steering wheel, is there any adjustment in it? You think the Tech could've misaligned it during the replacement process?
TL : DR - Can I make a very small adjustment to my steering wheel by removing it or do I need to get the vehicle aligned to perfectly straighten the wheel?

I would make another trip back to the dealership and show it to them, they should have checked that before giving it back to you. I had the dealership replace my windshield a few weeks ago and when the tech put my wiper blades back on, they sat too high, I could have fixed it in a few minutes myself but chose to have the dealership do it. That way they fully understand that I will be looking at things when I pick my truck up so they had better work on their QA/QC processes. Good luck, they should be able to take care of you pretty quick, and I would make sure they check the alignment afterwards.
