I checked all the threads I could find for this, and I came up a little short.

Basic question is the mounting points for the console or center seat. I have a 2016 regular cab with a center seat that I just have to swap for a console. I did it in my 2010 and it was a piece of cake since 2010's already had both sets of holes in the mounting plate. A search of several recycler sites shows no 2015-2016 consoles available in the black that I need.

Will a 2010-2014 console fit in the space? I don't care if I have to drill holes or move the mount plate, I just have to have a console (column shift BTW). None of the topics I searched mentioned swapping from an earlier model, so that's the focus of my question, 2010 through 2014 fitting in a 2015-2016.

 

Someone did cover this a while ago and he got it to work but had to make custom brackets
