Another Audio Question using the ACM settings.
Hey guy I added a subwoofer to my 2015 with MFT non sony truck using the great information found here about enabling it with FORscan adding some RCA's. So I have successfully added an amp & sub. Unfortunately this has not improved the overall sound much.
I have been reading for days trying to figure out the most economical way to improve my sound. I have seen people adding processors and all kinds of expensive equipment to get the factory radio signal cleaned up.
I saw this article linked from the forscan excel sheet about removing the factory equalizer settings and getting low level signal directly from the ACM using forscan.
This seems like the most cost effective way to get a clean low level output to feed into your audio equipment. This also opens up a wider selection of options and more affordable audio processors if you do not need it to convert your high level speaker inputs.
I was thinking I could buy the Parrot Car Kit Harness FOR-11CK and solder on RCA jacks to the front & rear speaker outputs make the changes in the ACM and have a nice clean signal to feed out to my audio equipment.
Has anyone done this to a 2013 or newer ACM with success?
Also if I use the Parrot Car Kit Harness FOR-11CK will I need to solder some of the harness wires back together to keep the existing factory subwoofer/AUX signal?
Another option I was considering is running the 4 channels back to a processor that will drop a sub channel to feed my subwoofer amp to get better control of my subwoofer.
This is just a side note but has anyone heard of or used the C-DSP 6x8 it seems super powerful but probably way over what I need. But for the price it might be something to look into down the road as the reviews are all 5 star. One review on amazon was for an F150.

I still need to figure out which equipment & door speakers to use but if I can get a clean signal from the factory ACM I believe it opens up my options considerably and I would think provide a better sound overall. I have never been a fan of LOC devices I feel like we are taking a step backwards using them but that is just my opinion.
Thanks in advance for your input!!
