Default Android Auto & Ford+Alexa

I installed Android Auto as well as Ford+Alexa. The Alexa is ok I can do some stuff but my "regular" Alexa has spotify setup for music. I can't figure out if or how I can integrate Spotify with the Ford+Alexa. Anyone know? I do play Spotify in the car through the Bluetooth but I like the Alexa voice integration.

Also what exactly am I supposed to be able to do with Android Auto? I tried the GPS since Ford's sucks and I can't get it to display on the Ford screen. Should I be able to do that? To me it just looks like while in Android Auto mode my phone has limited capabilities.

Any suggestions for what apps to get for my phone that are useful and integrate with the Sync3?

For Android Auto you have to plug in with a USB cable. You are doing that correct?

No problem. Common mistake.

And before any yells at Ford, this is an AA requirement.

Also, go into settings and make sure AA is enabled.

OK - So I connected it via USB and it works now. But when I try to use the google voice commands it tells me I need to accept the warning when it is "safe" but I cannot find this warning anywhere to acknowledge. Not on my phone or anywhere on the sync. I was sitting in the car with it in park and idling. Also when I was playing around with it I told it not to connect automatically so that I could choose to use it or not. But I cannot figure out any way to manually start it so I had to go back to the auto mode. I started it on my phone but it did not come up on the dash. Very annoying. I like that I can use the Google maps probably the only thing I will ever use. Not sure I will ever use the Alexa so may remove that.
