Default Android auto flickers on and off.

I cant tell if this is an issue with my jack, cord, Android Auto, or Sync 3. I'm getting a new phone soon, so I guess that will help eliminate a couple possibilities. AA will connect and work just fine and then in the middle of the trip it will flicker off, then back on ten seconds later. Sometimes it just flickers off and never comes back on. Occasionally, the entire sync program just freezes and doesnt work at all.

Anyone have similar issues?

I had a Galaxy S5 when I first got my truck. It had intermittent issues with connection. I've since got an S8 and it connects easier, better and works flawlessly.

Hopefully it's the same with yours.

I'm getting the note 8 next month. I'm sure that will do the trick.

I would suspect the cable. Sounds like the connection is failing. But it's probably a moot point if you're changing phones (and cables, I expect) soon.
