Default Android auto daytime/nighttime mode

Over the last week I've noticed that when I drive at night using Google maps and Android Auto is in night mode, if I shift from drive to reverse and back to drive, Google maps goes from night mode to daylight mode.

Anyone else have this?

Also, over the last week, when I get a call, the ring comes in over the speakers and the music stops but I can't hear anyone and they can't hear me.

If I unplug my USB cord, and just use Bluetooth the phone works through sync just fine.

I definitely have the same issue as it pertains to incoming calls on AA. I just send them to voice mail and call them back. Pretty annoying...

Android Auto seems to be fraught with issues.

You can correct the incoming call issue by making sure the sync 3 is set to "use phone ringtone" in settings.
