Android Auto is cool (review)
Doesn't look like I have Apple Carplay installed, but not matter as I have an Android. Download the app, hook up with the USB cable and you're on your way. I did have to to reconnect once after downloading the app.
My truck is a late build 2016 so it came with mine. I think $750-$1000 Nav systems will be a thing of the past. My 302a works great with my phone . I swear it's better than my wife's 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Garmin unit. Birds view, turn by turn voice, just looks nice. Maps always updated.
It's really easy, and really sweet. I guess the only downfall would be if you have a limited data plan on your phone. My company covers mine so I'm good.
