I don't even use Amsoil in my truck but I am a member of a lot of automotive/motorcycle based forums and there is always at least one guy that just completely hates Amsoil and whenever someone brings it up they find a need to rip on it repeatedly. It's oil like anything else. If you don't like their marketing, don't buy it. These people are acting like they are saving humanity by denouncing amsoil. And I've seen this guy post that ghost busters thing at least a half dozen times.

Obviously you have a problem with Amsoil. Like I said, I don't use it, too expensive for my blood, but it's still excellent oil.

I understand and agree with most of this comment. However, I feel that it is not a reason to be offensive at the OP's preference. I'll borow your last statement for the finale...
When was the last time you heard of any reasonably modern motor coming apart due to oil issues caused by Amsoil, assuming that engine was properly maintained with reasonably timed oil changes and that meets Ford's viscosity ?
Have a great day all.

What I do know is they're a multi-level marketing company that sells products which they intentionally label to *appear* to satisfy warranty conditions and required certifications, but actually doesn't. When asked about it, they'll tell you how wonderful their product is and how they don't go through the certification because it's sooooo expensive, and they would have to pass that cost on to the customer. Of course, other major manufacturers manage to get the certifications, produce products that seem to function very well, and do so at prices substantially less than the "top-tier" Scamsoil products.
Scamsoil may be great, I don't know. But I find their behavior and their ethics highly questionable... thus I won't do business with them.
By the way, what supercars/hypercars come with Amsoil factory-fill? That's right... none! Moparts SRT products come with PUP. Ferrari recommends PP Euro. M1 is factory fill in Aston Martin, Bentley, Cadillac V-series, Chevy Camaro SS/ZL1/COPO, Corvette, McLaren, Mercedes AMG, Nissan GTR, and Porsche. BMW now recommends PP. Audi, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Land Rover, SEAT, and VW recommend Castrol Edge. If Amsoil were so fantastic, surely *one* of the above manufacturers would use it? But... they don't.

None of those vehicles use any oil because the car manufacturer decided it was the 'best' oil. I hope you realize that these 'recommendations' are marketing agreements, where the oil companies pay to become the recommended oil. They are all good oils. So much wasted breath on which oil is the best.

The Act you are quoting says unless the manufacturer explicitly specified what is and isn’t covered by warranty. Ford didn’t print the warranty and owners manual for nothing.
These documents are like a contract between the owner and Ford. If Ford failed to say what oil to use you would be OK. But Ford has given you specific oil requirements. Failing to use the oil specified in the manual would give a Ford an opportunity to deny warranty coverage.
Most common denial reason by many manufacturers is the owner didn’t follow the maintenance schedule.
