I've been using it for years with zero problems. So your opinion is exactly that, your opinion. Many people have been millions of hard driven miles on their vehicles with Amsoil with no issues. I've used it for over 20 years without an engine related failure of any kind in a variety of different gas and diesel engines. I happen to believe it is worth it, but that's my opinion. One post is enough to spew your Amsoil hate. Multiple posts about it is getting sad. Put the keyboard away and have an iced tea dude, seriously.
I'm sorry to hear you have been brainwashed by Scamsoil! Very typical of multi-level marketing companies!

A previous post, this question is for you:

Why is it that Scamsoil doesn't have an oil recommendation for high performance cars like Ferrari, McLaren, Lambo, or the new Shelby GT500? Mobil 1, Pennzoil, Castrol, and Shell all have an oil for these vehicles?

Why do you put so much stock into what factory recommends or fills with what oil?

Unless something has changed, amsoil 5w-50 meets fords WSS-M2C931-C spec, so it can be used in a GT350 and GT500.

Just another example of the deceit from Scamsoil!!!!
I don't get all the hate in this thread but this is a valid point. If Ford had an formulation they could use that would replace SP, LV, and ULV I'm sure they would be using it by now. HOWEVER, the same basic point can be made for most of the producers out there. We've all seen the "universal" transmission fluids.

Interesting factoid...you are actually supposed to shake bottles of Mercon ULV before using because the additive package settles.

Just another lie with the specs on Signature 5W50! Look up the 2020 GT500 (engine) and this is what you will find:

I just use what ever dinosaur **** the dealer puts in and have never had an oil related failure. So. What difference does it make? Spend your money how you want.

You have to read a little further because it looks like they have not updated their website to reflect all 2020 year models, when you actually go look at the 5W-50 it meets ford spec WSS-M2C931-C which means it ok to use in a GT350 and GT500, is that good enough for you?

APPLICATIONS
Use AMSOIL Signature Series Synthetic Motor Oil in applications that require any of the following specifications:

5W-50 (AMR): API SP, SN PLUS, SN Ford WSS-M2C931-C (Mustang)

COMPATIBILITY
AMSOIL Signature Series Synthetic Motor Oil is compatible with other conventional and synthetic motor oils. Mixing other oils with AMSOIL motor oils, however, will shorten the oil's life expectancy and reduce its performance benefits. AMSOIL does not support extended drain intervals where oils have been mixed.

Aftermarket oil additives are not recommended for use with AMSOIL synthetic motor oils.
