So I finally ordered and received my lariat door harnesses and modules so that I can fire up my power fold mirrors. Now I am thinking of adding the ambient light leds while I have the door panels off. My question is, do those leds just plug into my new harness, or will I have to still run my own wires for ambient light? I am trying to keep from having to remove my door panels a second time once I get ready to do the full ambient light add-on. TIA.

 

If you currently have light there, it's my understand that you just need to buy the correct module and plug it in. Then you look at the wiring it should have 3 wires. (postive, ground, data).
