My 2016 Sport Lariat came with the ambient lighting package. When turned on, I find the led's that surround the cup holder much too bright, very distracting when driving.

If I set the ambient level to the lowest level to tone them down, then all the other ambient lights are either way too low to non-existent.

Is there a way to dim the console led's? Maybe another resistor in the line?

Ideas?

I wonder if you could put a resister in the connector going to cup holder lights. That should pull back the amount of power getting to it or a potentiometer that way it would be adjustable
