Everything (paperwork) I have indicates AT tires on my new truck. It came with Fortitudes (I consider them all season as they state M&S). Anybody else complain about this? These are not All Terrain.

 

I believe the AT's only come on the 4x4 trucks. The 4x2's don't get them stock.

My Lariat SuperCrew 4x4 came with the OWL Goodyear Wrangler Fortitude HT tires.

Give them a try. I really think you'll like them. After having trucks and SUVs since 1988, and using nothing but Goodyear or Michelin tires on them, I can say that these are among the best tires you'll find.

Quiet. Good traction in snow. Good braking and handling, and the UTQG rating indicates they'll last a long time, too.

Are you looking for something more off- than on-road?

 

The big issue is Ford is passing these All Season off as All Terrains. Not what I was expecting. My truck - Lariat, Scab, 6.5, 5.0, 3.55 elock, FX4. If they do not correct this, I will live with them but will not be happy. Say what you mean Ford!!

 

Good Year has the wrangler Fortitude listed as AS and AT... If I remember correctly the Fortitude is on 18 inch rims and the all terrain Adventure comes with the 20 inch wheels. There was a posting of what tires came with what package and tire sizes...

 

From a previous post... This appear to be the tires that are coming on various trucks as OEM equipment.

I just don't think the Fortitudes are All Terrain and your post was the first time I've seen the Fortitude listed as AT. I'll live with them. As stated earlier they might be a pretty descent tire, just not what I was expecting.

 

I am almost positive the Lt option on the 18's is the AT adventure too. Cost extra $350.00 in Canada, well worth it if you plan on running them.

 

Kermit22 - Although Goodyear has them listed as AT, I agree they look more like a AS and the formal write up between the two tires certainly list the Adventure time as more of a AT than the Fortitude. If you would prefer something else you might see what the dealer will do on a exchange, many dealer have been willing to work with the customer according to other posts.
