I had a set of studded snows on my ram, the worked good, but we're so noisy and rough I hated to drive it. Put a set of General Grabber AT2' s on my work van and I was so impressed with how they were in the snow, I decided to get a set of them (265/70/17) on steel wheels for my F150. I absolutely love them. They have the snow peak symbol on the sidewall.

I hear you, Goodyear Wrangler Fortitude's came on my truck and I got them off within a few days before they ever see snow. They look like they'd be like driving on banana peels.. Mario Kart style.

I'm in Oil Springs, just moved there from Sarnia. I still find it worth it to go over the boarder every once and a while. I don't do groceries over there, but I do buy my dog food there and a third the price.

55,000km's 2.7EB with mixed city/highway I average 10.5l/100k. Straight highway @100km/h gets me ~9-9.5 l/100k. 80km/h freeways I get as high as 8.2 l/100km. Alberta major highways 110km/h 10.8-11.
