Default Alignment issue

I recently installed bilsteins on my F150. After the install had the alignment performed at a Mavis Tire. Shortly after, I noticed it was pulling to the left so I brought it back. The technician today said that the castor was off by a lot and the would have to get a 2 in kit for the UCA to correct it. $250 out the door and no charge for the realignment. They don't have the part and can't fix it today. Does any of this sound right and is there anything I can do myself to avoid spending the $250.

Caster and camber can be corrected, to a degree, with a kit for the LCAs. Ford makes a kit as well as others (which are often better quality). You need one kit for each side.

What exactly is the shop trying to do? I'm confused.

Are they saying you need a new UCA to overcome your lift in order to align it to specification?

Generally speaking, a replacement UCA (aftermarket) is necessary when exceeding 2.5" of coil lift.
Your bilstein lift should not have put you above the lift height, unless you combined the bilstein lift with a secondary lift such as a spacer.

Maybe the above post is accurate in that they need new cams adjusters. Perhaps just a poor explanation originally referring to it was a "UCA Kit".

Probably just a bad explanation on the phone. When i picked up the truck, they wrote that I need a caster/camber eccentric kit with 1.5 hours of labor for just the passenger side. Said that these trucks don't come adjustable from the factory.

That makes more sense.
