Default Alarm sensor

Hi guys
my truck has sensors points on the roof, but when i try it (close the car with leaving the window open and insert my hand and move it it does not work! I tried to leave my son inside and move but it didn't work! (All previous experiences with full sensing) ,, Can any one help me about ?

Try locking it first...

If not, post your truck year and model.

When troubleshooting look for the simplest first then more complex.

The 5 button key fobs where at least 20-30 feet away when you tested?

Yes, I tried to get away, but no sound .On the other hand Should I press the lock button once or twice?

Did you wait for a minute or two before you tested? The alarm waits for a while before it alarms itself. I think the time interval is 30 s but I could be wrong.

In the instrument cluster there is a section to turn this off. It should come up on the cluster when you shut the truck off asking if you want them on or just the perimeter. Now this maybe a temporary setting, I'm not sure, but look in the menus probably under vehicle and see what's there

OP, did you buy the truck new? The reason I ask is the sensors can be turned off with FORScan.
