Default Alarm

Have a 2016 XLT F150, My alarm keeps going on at the slightest movement. I park at work, if a truck goes by the alarm sounds, a little thunder the alarm sounds. Is it possible to adjust the sensitivity of the alarm .?? I don't want to disengage the alarmif possible.

sounds like you probably have the Perimeter Plus/Vehicle Shock Sensor on your truck. If so, there’s a dial on the module that you can turn to adjust sensitivity. Counterclockwise is what you’re looking for. Turn it all the way down, and from outside the truck, reach in and punch your steering wheel. If it doesn’t go off, turn it up a little and repeat until you find the sweet spot. (I just installed that module on my truck last week)

here’s a long and very informative thread on the VSS
