What kind of air filter would help make more power in 2016 F150 2.7 V6 EcoBoost?

Changing air filters from OEM to aftermarket in the hope of gaining engine power is a losers game. What you will gain however is added silica (dirt) in your induction system and engine oil.

Find a higher flowing aftermarket washable dry filter. Don't bother with the oiled filters or CAI's. Changing out the filter will make a slight difference, but nothing major.
