Default Air conditioner

Anybody know what temp should be coming out of the vents when air conditioner is set to 60? Should it be 60 or possibly lower. Mine is running at 64.
Just not cooling enough when the outside temp is like today at 112.
Seems like it was running colder last summer and I could get away with setting the temp at 66.

You may have a leak but a quick easy fix for now is to get a can of 134a and a adapter fill hose at your auto parts store. If you get an adapter with the gage it will tell you when the system is charged.

I thought the 2018 uses HFO-1234yf. Don't try to put in 134a until you verify the type your system uses.

They do. And considering it costs $70/lb it would be best to actually get it fixed rather than the gas and go method.

The generally accepted vent temp is 45 degrees plus or minus 5 degrees, to answer your question.

It could be freon, could also be a blend door letting warm air pass.
