Default Advice for brakes replacement

Ok so the stock pads and rotors etc seem to be garbage , replaced pads with akemobo ( can't remember exactly but you guys will get it I am sure) they sure keep wheels clean longer but now after 10k miles squick like crazy etc etc , was thinking a full replacement rotors pads calipers BUT what would you guys recommend ? Not towing anything but it is a truck I use both for please and work so most times 5 people in the truck and bed full of work stuff.

Did you remember to use anti-noise compound on the back of the pads? A lot of noise can occur if you don't use enough or forget it entirely.

Remember, when driving, braking is overrated.

Bought this kit and now have 10,000 miles on them. Still work and look as good as the day I installed them. Brake dust seems almost non existent.
IF you purchase be sure and read the break in instructions for the pads. Those instructions are also listed toward the bottom of the link provided. They work as advertised. Some day I may replace the calipers but with the performance I haven't felt it necessary.

I have zero noise/squeaking.

Just upgraded my front brakes to the Z36 kit, so far, so good.

I've always had good luck with rotorpros.net

Not the sexiest website, but they are legit. I got a set for my last truck from them, got a set for my wife's car. They have different options for the rotors (drilled, slotted, etc) and different pad options. Always been happy. I originally found out about them when I had a BMW - alot of those guys used Rotorpros for their replacements.

Just be sure to pay attention to the fact that there is an inner and outer pad. The inner has "ears" whereas the outer does not. Almost made that mistake...
