adding tow mirrors with spot and puddle lights
I changed out mirrors to tow mirrors that have spot and puddle lights. Add the spotlight module and switch but still not working. I was told it was plug and play.
If so, refer to the section on enabling Puddle/Spot Lamps
Just a word of caution if you go the route of the wiring modification...
The spot lamps can inadvertently be left on (usually during daylight hours) and cause a dead battery. I have reverted 2 of the vehicles the owners originally wanted set up this way to enabling through changes in the BCM.

Do you have the headlamp switch on when turning on the spot lamps?
If so, refer to the section on enabling Puddle/Spot Lamps

As an alternate method, you can splice into the spot light enable wire (the one that is cut) with an ignition controlled circuit. This can be as simple as a fuse tap from the fuse panel on the passenger side with a wire run across the underside of the dash. Then at least the lights will be off whenever the vehicle is.

Think they just mean to fold the mirrors in using the switch. There is no adjustment for aiming the spot lights.
