Default Adding a time delay relay to a inverter

Ok, this is difficult to explain.

Have a 400w inverter inside my F150, I currently have it wired up to a relay that will take power off the inverter when I shut the truck off. But what I want is a time delay relay that will keep power to the inverter for 30-60 minutes after I shut the truck off to finish task on my laptop (reason for inverter).

Can somebody point me to a relay that would work in the scenario?

Think what I need is:

12v Time Delay Relay 40amp rated. 30-60 minute time adjustable.

I cant find this anywhere online. Nor do I understand some of the wiring diagrams associated with the delay relays.

I don't know if you will find a good 12V off delay timer rated at 40 amps for less than $75. I've never even looked for a timer relay with that kind of rating. Might be more economical to get a 5-10A off timer to control the relay you have.

Your battery on your laptop should be able to handle this.

Can you explain this in greater detail?

The laptop battery will work, but I have a WiFi router that is the reason I need a timer so I still can have wifi

You can get a 3G/4G adapter that will plug into your laptop, and you won't need the WiFi router.

Why do you have a router in your truck?

Install a small UPS Battery system for router if needed. Cost will be cheaper than rewiring truck and installing a delay.

The switched 12V signal would be connected to the control input, or "coil" of the off delay relay. supply power is switched through the contacts of the timer to the coil of the 40A relay. It's just a relay turning on another relay.

The item mentioned by jm061 is an option also.

The router is for work. It's like a WiFi hotspot in the truck that is always on. Kind of hard to explain why I need it, but this is the best option. I have tried a USB modem, but that will only power one device. I have tried those little WiFi boxes with little luck, so I installed a Cradlepoint Router under the seat.

I see the time delay relay to run the switched wire. That's actually a excellent idea.
