Default Adding Spotlight Mirrors

So I have a 2017 XLT that didn't have factory Spotlights, Well i bought the Module, Switch, and Lights themselves. So i was wondering if there was anything I have to turn on in Forscan because I can turn my headlights on and the push the buttons on the switch and they turn on. When i turn the blinkers on the turn signals flash like normal with my old non spotlight turn signal bulbs. so I'm stumped with it.

Thanks in advance.

So what else were you expecting to see happen with the Spot Lamps?

From the WSM:

Spot Lamps

When a spot lamp switch is pressed, a ground is provided to the spot lamp module. When the spot lamp module detects that the spot lamp switch has been pressed, it sends voltage to the spot lamp (integrated into the exterior mirror turn lamp) and to the spot lamp switch indicator.

The BCM enables the spot lamps for use when the vehicle speed is less than 6 mph (10 km/h) and the
parking lamps are on.

Ahhh... When you are trying to illuminate the Spot Lamps, is the Headlamp Switch in the PARKLAMPS Position?

The light illuminating on the switch is only an indication that the switch had been depressed and the SLM sees that. It doesn't confirm that the Spot Lamp Module has performed any output functions. Have you scanned for any DTCs from the BCM? If the BCM has shut down the output driver the DTC would have to be cleared and a successful BCM self-test conducted. Check BJB Fuse-16 (10 A) to see if it has blown then check to see if the power is getting to the SLM. My guess is that the module is getting power and that is why the switch lights come on when pressed. Have you confirmed that all the wiring exists between the SLM and the actual Spot Lamps?
