Adding NAV after VIN issued?

Truck is ordered with the 302A package. At this point in the order process is it still possible to add NAV?
Order placed April 26th. Received VIN May 12th.
I've been told it's going to be built the June 20th production week.
The dealer already told me can't be done but I just wanted to hear from anyone else on here if they were able to add NAV after the VIN was issued. 3 weeks before production......

Just hack it and add it yourself when you get the truck. It's a sticky thread in this forum. Worked great for me.

That's what I was told.
On another topic. I hope Apple CarPlay doesn't interfere with other functions on the SYNC 3 screen. For example, full use of truck radio while using Apple NAV on an iPhone 6 plugged in?
The reason I didn't pick MyTouch NAV was to use Apple CarPlay.
